Dear Neighbors:

Please let us extend to you an invitation to join the Royal Canyon Property Owners Association (RCPOA).  This association has been serving property owners in the area surrounding Royal Boulevard and Greenbriar Road since 1961.

By being a member you will become acquainted with more of your fellow neighbors in the immediate area.  You will be able to communicate your thoughts and observations on issues concerning your neighborhood more effectively.  Example subjects of interest include traffic calming measures, city sponsored projects such as The Americana at Brand, hillside ordinances and development, noise pollution, public transportation, public parks and land use, parking and street conditions -- just to name a few of the issues where we represent the neighborhood.  By becoming a member of RCPOA you will have a stronger voice with our city government to make yourself heard.

Our membership meetings are held annually on the first Saturday in February of each year, at which time members elect a Board of Directors and consider reports on the affairs of the association.  In election years the city council candidates are invited to attend and are pleased to present their views to property owner associations such as ours on various topics relating to the city government.  The membership asks questions and gets answers helpful in making voting decisions.  In non-election years we have speakers of interest on topical subjects.  Of course, a lovely brunch at the Oakmont Country Club is served where this event is held.  The association also sponsors a neighborhood picnic in July at a local park as well as a summer social barbeque in August at a beautiful neighborhood home of one of our members.
